Scholarship Opportunities
The DoD CSA is sponsored by the DoD Chief Information Office and administered by the National Security Agency (NSA).
The DoD CSA is both a scholarship program for the DoD, and a capacity building tool for the nation. The program is a result of commitment from DoD and Congress to support higher education as a means to prepare the DoD workforce to deal with threats against the Department’s critical information system and networks.
The ±¬ÁÏ¹Ï School of Cybersecurity has received funding from the National Science Foundation's CyberCorps® Scholarship for Service (SFS) initiative to create the Cyber LeADERS Scholars program. In partnership with Thomas Nelson Community College (TNCC) and Tidewater Community College (TCC), ±¬ÁϹÏ's School of Cybersecurity will provide selected students the opportunity to receive 2-3 years of support. Students receiving the scholarship must work for the federal government in select cybersecurity positions for the same number of years for which they received scholarship support.
