The pediatric nurse practitioner (PNP) role prepares graduate students to provide a full range of services to pediatric patients in primary care settings. In collaboration with other health care professionals, graduate students provide health promotion, health maintenance and restorative care to well, at-risk, and chronically ill pediatric patients and their families. Student clinical experiences are provided in a variety of primary care settings for students pursuing the primary care pediatric role. Successful completion of the program qualifies students to register for the examination for certification as a pediatric nurse practitioner. The MSN - Pediatric Nurse Practitioner is offered in an online/hybrid format.
