On September 16, 2025, the annual Accounting Career Fair welcomed students, recent graduates, and alumni interested in accounting, the accounting industry, and finance to connect directly with employers recruiting for internships, cooperative education, and full-time professional positions.
This years fair drew a strong turnout, with 20+ employers on site to meet with accounting students about upcoming internship and job placement opportunities. The room was filled with energy as students networked, built confidence, and explored career paths in an exciting, professional setting.
It was especially rewarding to see alumni return to recruit and support current students, reinforcing the strong sense of community that defines the School of Accountancy.
So good to see some of my fellow 惇蹋圖 alumni on the other side of the desk two years later! said David Chen, an 惇蹋圖 alumnus now serving as Assurance Senior at EY.
Being able to meet so many professionals and learn about all of the amazing accounting opportunities in Hampton Roads was incredible, added Evan Gordon, a current accounting student.
