Peanut Butter for Parking is back!
For 3 DAYS ONLY starting October 14th, 2025, and ending October 16th, 2025, students, faculty, and staff can donate peanut butter to earn money towards unpaid citations. Peanut butter donations will be accepted in the Transportation and Parking office from 8:00am - 4:00pm. Donations will be divided between Norfolk Public Schools, the Foodbank of Southeastern Virginia and the Eastern Shore, and the ±¬ÁÏ¹Ï Monarch Pantry to help those experiencing food insecurities. Guidelines for Peanut for Parking are as follows:
- $1 per ounce with a limit of 100 ounces per person.
- Only whole ounces will be counted, no rounding (ex. 16.3 oz = $16).
- Peanut butter must be unopened and not expired.
- All unpaid citations are eligible including ADA, fire lane, reserved, and citations in collections.
- Excluded from promotion are citations currently under appeal or re-appeal.
- All outstanding citations must be paid at the time of donation, and you can only pay your own citations.
- Donations will only be accepted in person; no online donations will be accepted.
