De-Stress Week
From December 1–8, Ϲ is offering a lineup of calming, creative, and connection-building activities to help you unwind before finals. Throughout the week, students can stop by for self-care kits, healthy snacks, grounding activities, therapy dogs, hands-on crafts, mindful movement, and opportunities to connect with fellow Monarchs.
With events ranging from aromatherapy stress balls and fiber arts to group walks, wellness workshops, and Late Night Breakfast, there’s something every student can enjoy. Whether you need a moment of calm, a burst of energy, or just a study break with friends, De-Stress Week is designed to support your well-being as you finish the semester strong. Mindful Moment Monday: Grounding Kits
Noon-2 p.m. @ Webb Center, North Mall
Unwind and recharge! This Mindful Moment Monday table will guide you through creating your own personalized grounding kit using the 5 senses technique. Learn how to manage stress and anxiety by engaging sight, sound, touch, taste, and smell. Then build a take-home kit with calming items that speak to each sense.

No Day But Today: World AIDS Day

Join us for World AIDS Day at our educational engagement table! Test your knowledge with interactive HIV/AIDS and PrEP trivia, participate in myth-busting activities, and earn fun giveaways. You can also connect with campus and local resources, including information about Testing Tuesday, to support your health and the well-being of our community. Come help raise awareness, learn together, and strengthen our community’s support network
Monarch Meet Up Group Walk & Talk
4-5 p.m. @ SRWC Front Entrance
Join other Ϲ students for a walk and talk on campus. The group will meet out front of the Student Recreation and Well-Being Center for a ~2 mile route on campus. In case of inclement weather, the group will meet inside the SRWC and walk the indoor track. Monarch Meet-Ups are more than a workout: they’re a chance to make connections, enjoy the fresh air, and get your steps in! Participants can arrive solo or bring a friend, we just ask that you follow the 3 ground rules: 1) Spread the Warmth: Greet everyone with a smile and be present 2) Step Outside Your Comfort Zone: Chat with someone new each walk 3) Support Other Monarchs: This is a safe and uplifting space for Ϲ students! Walks meet in front of the Student Recreation and Well-Being Center.

Off-Campus Student Socials: Snack Stop
11 a.m.-1 p.m. @ Off-Campus Student Lounge (2200 Webb Center)
Every other week, SET's Off-Campus Student Life hosts Off-Campus Student Socials in the Off-Campus Student Lounge. At Snack Stops, commuters can drop by for snacks, board games, and connection with their fellow commuter students. One of these will be taking place during this week and will be a great opportunity for off-campus students to unwind & de-stress.
Wags on Wednesdays

On Wednesday from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Counseling Services will be hosting certified therapy dogs to offer students a welcoming space to pause, connect, and recharge. This drop-in event provides a chance for students to interact with a friendly pup, unwind between classes, and enjoy a moment of comfort and connection—supporting emotional well-being, reducing stress, and helping boost a sense of belonging.
DIY Aromatherapy Stress Balls

Take a break and unwind with us! During this event, you’ll create your own stress-relieving aromatherapy stress ball using calming essential oils and soft, squishy materials. Choose your favorite scent and craft a personalized stress ball to help you stay centered during busy days. Drop by, de-stress, and take home a little pocket of peace!

Tired of instant ramen and boring snacks? Step up your kitchen game with Fridge to Fork! This hands-on, no-heat cooking class is perfect for college students who want to whip up tasty, creative meals using just what’s in their fridge. Learn how to turn simple ingredients into Instagram-worthy wraps, salads, energy bites, and more—no stove, oven, or microwave required! It’s all about fresh, fast, and fun recipes to keep you fueled for late-night study sessions and weekend adventures. Whether you’re a dorm chef or just trying to level up your meal game, this class has got you covered.

Come ready to practice a known fiber art or learn a new one! Supplies and kits for crocheting, punch needle, embroidery, cross-stitch, and others will be available for students to start and take what they do not finish with them at the end. Fiber arts are known to be relaxing to the soul as it forces us to slow down and focus. Our hope is to unlock a new (or reinforce) de-stress activity or coping strategy.
