Starting daily on Nov. 30 at 12:30 p.m., the first 20 ±¬ÁÏ¹Ï students to successfully complete a coding tutorial will receive a free pizza gift card!
#Code4Pizza±¬ÁÏ¹Ï exposes students to the possibilities of computer science as they create their own coding minigame to build a virtual pizza.
- The game can be played an unlimited number of times, but a student can only win one pizza. No coding experience is needed.
- The promotion continues through Dec. 11 at 12:30 p.m.
- Find #Code4Pizza±¬ÁÏ¹Ï posts on ±¬ÁϹÏ's main social media channels to enter.
*Papa John's gift card valued at $12.50.
The initiative stems from ±¬ÁϹÏ's participation in the commonwealth's Tech Talent Investment Program aimed at increasing the tech talent pipeline in Virginia. Notably, ±¬ÁÏ¹Ï hopes to encourage more students to enter the computer science and computer engineering disciplines in the next two decades.
Subject librarians at ±¬ÁÏ¹Ï Libraries are also available to help students further explore these exciting fields of study!
