Coalition of Black Faculty and Administrators' Endowed Scholarship
The Coalition of Black Faculty and Administrators' (CBFA) Endowed Scholarship honors and supports students from the Hampton Roads area who demonstrate academic excellence, leadership, and a meaningful commitment to uplifting the Black community.
Established by the Coalition of Black Faculty and Administrators, this scholarship provides financial assistance to deserving students who actively contribute to the Black community—both on campus and beyond.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Be a graduate of one of the following Hampton Roads high schools:
Bayside, Bethel, Booker T. Washington, Churchland, Deep Creek, Denbigh, Granby, Great Bridge, Green Run, Hampton, I.C. Norcom, Indian River, Kecoughtan, Kempsville, Lake Taylor, Maury, Menchville, Norview, Ocean Lakes, Oscar Smith, Phoebus, Princess Anne, Salem, Tallwood, or Western Branch. - Be enrolled as a full-time undergraduate or graduate student.
- Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
- Submit a 500-word essay describing your commitment and/or involvement in the Black community, either on campus or within the broader community.
