±¬ÁÏ¹Ï is redesigning both instructional and non-instructional academic spaces to create flexible, inclusive, and technology-enhanced environments that support excellence in teaching, learning, and research. These modernized spaces are central to delivering a high-quality, engaging experience for all students and faculty.
Technology-Enhanced Academic Spaces
Technology-enhanced academic spaces support a wide range of instructional approaches – including in-person, asynchronous, media-integrated, and AI-enhanced teaching.
XR and immersive learning spaces are expanding across disciplines, supporting simulation, virtual labs, and interdisciplinary research.
Non-Instructional Spaces
State-of-the-art production studios for video and audio recordings are available to all faculty who want to create A/V content to enhance their courses.
- Collaboration zones, innovation hubs, and research enablement labs are being updated to support creativity, AI integration, and engagement.
- Common and student-centered areas are being redesigned to integrate study zones and digital learning hubs.
Learning Management System
The University’s Learning Management System (LMS) is being enhanced with modular design templates, course automation tools, embedded AI tools, advanced analytics and instructional support, and is now required for all courses.
The Division of Digital Transformation and Technology (DTT) provides training and support to help faculty integrate these enhancements into their courses.
This is not simply a technology upgrade; it is a strategic investment that empowers faculty, elevates student engagement, and enables staff to ensure that the overall institutional experience aligns with our digital future.
